Hey eveyone! I'm a newbie here and have just joined the Mississippi State Univ team. I couldn't find any threads from this team, so I thought I'd try to start one!

I like the idea of college based teams as a good way to start up some competition. They are universal too. It doesn't matter where I move to, what job I have, or what field I'm in. I always have a meaningful team to participate in without having to think about switching as circumstances change.

Let's bring some college rivalry into the mix.

I'm a '99 MSU graduate living in Missouri right now. Working in the Hematology/Flow Cytometry department at one of our local hospitals. Being that we diagnose and follow up on leukemia and lymphoma cases every day I was pumped when I ran across the distributed computing projects. I"m doing my best to recruit more people to help the fight

So, I say we start up some teams from the various colleges and universities and have some fun.
